After Bamako ( 2010 ), Bodo Dioulasso ( 2011 ), Conakry (2012 and 2013), it is Ouagadougou which was held (retained) by the investigators of the network WANECAM (West African Network for Clinical Trials and antimalarial Drugs) for the workshop of their annual meeting of 2014. The meeting was organised in one of the hotels of Ouagadougou, from 17 to 19 June 2014. During 3 days the exchanged on the current progress of the research on antimalaria medicines within the network; shared their experiences on tropical diseases; and strengthened the links of collaborations between the different institutions of research which came from West Africa and europe. Thee points have been developed by the participants.

June 12th, 2014, CNRFP received a distinguished guest. It is Her Excellency Sir Alfonso Di Rico, ambassador of Italy for Burkina Faso with residence in Abidjan. The CRFP and the Italian Cooperation maintain a partnership for a long time. The ambassador came to see the results of this partnership around the struggle against malaria. Welcomed by Dr Sodiomon SIRIMA, Managing Director of CNRFP, the visit began with a presentation about the Center.
